It is our desire in KidsQuest is to partner with parents in building a strong foundation for their children to begin and grow their relationship with Jesus. Through small and large group settings, we seek to help children learn to Celebrate (through worship), Connect (in small groups), and Contribute (in service projects and investing in the lives of others). We want them to know, worship, and serve Jesus.
In the Birth through Pre-school years, KidsQuest focuses on impressing three primary concepts:
God made me
God loves me
Jesus wants to be my friend forever
To implement this goal we utilize Bible story time, songs, age appropriate activities, and playtime.
During the Elementary years, our goal is for each student to understand three basic truths:
Faith- I can trust God no matter what
Wisdom- I need to make wise choices
Friendship- I should treat others the way I want to be treated
Utilizing an interactive large group format that stresses Bible stories, engaging worship, games, and small group activities, KidsQuest Coaches seek to challenge students to embrace the teachings of Christ, commit their lives to Him, and chose to obey Him in their daily interactions with others.
Realizing that God has given parents the responsibility of shepherding the hearts of children, KidsQuest seeks to help equip parents with tools to review and continue the discussions begun on the weekend at home. Take home pages provide conversation starters, family activities, and daily devotional worksheets to encourage a week long interaction with the lesson.
